Windows 10

What’s in a number? In the case of Windows 10, it signifies a vision that is both tantalizing and pragmatic this time around. Microsoft announced Windows 10, at a small press and analyst gathering, earlier today, and showcased the very first few steps towards the future of Windows on desktops, laptops, tablets, phones, Xbox and more. I’ve had the opportunity to selfhost for some time now, seen the great new features and thoughtfulness, so I’m excited to hear everyone’s reactions and commentary over the next many weeks.

With the Insider program, we’re inviting our most enthusiastic Windows customers to shape Windows 10 with us. We know they’re a vocal bunch – and we’re looking forward to hearing from them.

The Technical Preview will launch tomorrow; you can go to http://preview.windows.com/ to grab it (9/31).
