So there’s always talk about saving paper and going towards a paperless society. I don’t know how many years it’s been since they first started touting that horn, but let’s just say, it definitely hasn’t happened yet. Au contraire, it seems like paper usage is meerly increasing. It’s easier than ever to press that print button in your word processor. And even I’m guilty of wasting paper. Things I know for sure I’ll have to document electronically anyways, I still write down on paper. It’s that feeling of actually writing something down. Taking notes with a pen and notepad is infinitely more natural to me than to type it on a keyboard.
I had a multi hour meeting with my manager today to present what I’ve been working on over the past couple weeks. It was basically an amalgamation of all the research reports I’d been reading along with some of my thoughts and opinions. Some of my points and ideas went over really well. So far so good I’d say. Since we got the main portion of the project now nailed down, we’re going to start work on it. The other co-op was sick today, so I spent most of the time reading more research papers, but hopefully he’ll be back tomorrow and we can divide up the work.
I heard a story today. The punch line was: “What do you put in black coffee?” Is that hilarious or what?
In other news, I’m getting a lot better at foosball. I’m proud. If nothing else, at least I’ll have learned some hax foosball skillz this co-op semester.
