Operation PEI-Visit. Outcome: Huge Success

I’m now back in Waterloo after a raucous visit to Prince Edward Island. I was truly touched by the warm welcome and how comfortable it felt being with friends, many of whom I hadn’t seen for the better part of two years. The trip was far too short, but also very sweet. It was just the right length so I didn’t get into anyone’s hair.

Although the weather wasn’t nice at all, I finally did get a chance to walk around downtown Charlottetown on Saturday, when it stopped raining. Unfortunately, due to the professional development day for teachers, I wasn’t able to see any of my high school teachers. I would have liked to thank one teacher in particular, who had graduated from Waterloo and suggested the school to me.

These opportunities just don’t come along that often anymore as old friends grow up and apart. I’m overjoyed that I went ahead with the visit. It was far beyond my wildest expectations.

And Tim, I’m sorry I didn’t respond to your comments in the past. I promise I will, especially if you comment here… 😉

Don’t worry about responding to this comment. I’ll take your word that you will in the future!

  2. Well, I just have to reply to your comment, purely based on principle now. It was great seeing you and hearing about all your adventures as a ‘special assistant’ to an MP! 😉
