University of Waterloo Has Vista Business

Through the dealings with the MSDN Academic Alliance, the University of Waterloo has available a copy of Windows Vista Business for any and all students enrolled. I’m quite surprised the university is taking such an aggressive stance on Vista. I didn’t foresee them offering Vista until the initial problems/bugs were solved. Currently, students have to request a license from Information Systems and Technology and then pick up the CDs from the Computing Help and Information Place (CHIP), which need to be returned the next day.

Hopefully, they’re not inundated with support issues.

  1. It has been reported that IST don’t think they can handle the download traffic :)… thats why they’re running the sneakernet for the time being.

Ask your friends at other MSDN-AA schools, they all have it!
