I awoke this morning a bit excited over the thought of installing Skype on my iPhone, only to find that the newly-released app isn’t available in my geographical location. And only my geographical location. I was pointed to this article, which explains why, but only vaguely, in this case due to a ‘patent’ license restriction.
Bummer.
Just sign up for a US iTunes account and sync….done. Skype4Canada w00t
