Microsoft announced its new Live Mesh technology preview a couple days ago. This is apparently the brain child of Ray Ozzie, Microsoft’s Chief Software Architect since Bill Gates stepped down two years ago. I’m still a little fuzzy on what it is exactly, but I just got this in my mailbox, so I’ll be giving it a whirl with my desktop and laptop.
At a glance, it looks like a bit like an expanded (fancier) version of Windows Live FolderShare, but additional features will be added as the service gets fleshed out.
