I have a somewhat embarrassing story to tell. A person (real life here alright) hears that I have a website and asks what the address is. I say, well, it’s nfiniti.org. Of course, the person thinks that’s i-n-f-i-n-i-t-y dot org. I must then quickly backtrack and, while feeling pretty retarded, state that it’s infinity with no ‘i’ at the beginning and an ‘i’ at the end. So to avoid the confusion and to help preserve what would be left of my ego at that point, I went domain hunting.
I discovered that the dot coms were pretty much all taken. You’d be surprised what addresses are already owned nowadays. So, being the (patriotic) Canadian that I am, I decided to pick up a dot ca domain name. I’ve got a few ideas which are quite easy to remember and just about impossible to confuse. I just have to find a good place to actually buy it from. So while you’ll (probably) not notice anything new on your end, it should be a little easier for me to tell people about the site.
In real life of course.
